Repack Canada has acquired two automated systems: an automatic cartoner and a bagging system, striving for speed and optimum customer service for all packaging services.

Tzanoukakis was promoted to VP from her role as fulfillment and systems manager. She will lead day-to-day integration of multiple functions, including customer service, purchasing, demand scheduling, inventory and warehousing, in order to enhance on-time delivery and ROI for customers. 

The Independent Carton Group (ICG) has announced that FUJIFILM North America Corporation, Graphic Systems Division, is the recipient of its Supplier of the Year Award for 2017. The award was presented at the 21c Museum Hotel in Cincinnati during the ICG’s general membership meeting.

Sanofi has redesigned packaging for Nasacort OTC nasal spray to address consumer insights and merchandise more efficiently on the shelf. The new packaging includes the use of a more modern design and structure, including a window to see the product clearly.

Tekni-Plex, Inc. has acquired Dunn Industries, Inc., manufacturer of specialty extrusion tubing for medical device applications. Its product line is a complements the microextrusion tubing manufactured by Tekni-Plex’s Natvar business unit.

Rondo-Pak has named Robert Reilley as its Chief Operating Officer (COO). Reilley will oversee North American operations, including facilities in New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Puerto Rico. 

The new Inspyre protective packaging brand includes a spectrum of color possibilities to help enhance the customer experience with a different unboxing experience, and provide visual support for cause marketing and/or charitable campaigns.
