Plant-based yogurt brand Lavva has launched new packaging with design by famed cut-paper artist Hattie Newman. Lavva’s new bold, colorful designs will help it stand apart from the white and cream-colored packaging typical of competing brands.
What makes Lavva’s new packaging particularly exciting is the art of cut paper — a concept usually not seen in the CPG industry. Using one simple medium paper to piece colorful cuts together creates entire paper worlds.
Designed in partnership with Brooklyn-based design studio Gander, the decision was motivated by one of the brand’s main pillars: innovation. Innovating in the plant-based CPG space through the use of the pili nut is what established Lavva as a favorite among consumers early on.
