The “Technical Procurement Supplier of the Year” program Launched by Nestle in the US in November 2011 is an on-going program designed to recognize and formally acknowledge suppliers who exemplify outstanding performance and execution in the areas of innovation, customer service and relationship management, operations, quality, cost and value creation, and business ethics.

Bradman Lake (bradmanlake.com) has fully embraced a global partnership with Nestlé and has secured orders in Europe, Asia, and North America. Nick Bishop, VP of Sales, Bradman Lake Rock Hill USA, said “We regard our relationship with Nestlé as being mutually beneficial; working in partnership we have developed and implemented design changes which improved the quality of performance and specification of our machinery as well as introducing improved methods for cost control and expanded service support.”
In his address to the entire Bradman Lake workforce Group Managing Director, John Marlee, congratulated all employees and thanked them for their contribution either directly or indirectly. He went on to say that everyone within the Bradman Lake business has had a part to play. The award was secured against strong competition across a broad spectrum of suppliers and is something of which we should all be proud.

This is the third award that Bradman Lake has received from Nestle in recent years. In 2012 from a starting point of over 50 Capital Equipment suppliers, the Bradman Lake Group came to the top of the ranking and was awarded the inaugural “Technical Procurement Supplier of the Year” award in the area of Capital Equipment.

Early this year Bradman Lake was awarded the inaugural Nestle UK and Ireland 2014 Supplier Award in the category of “Best innovation” – Indirect. Nestlé’s purpose with this award is to recognize a company which has introduced an effective and innovative approach in their category that has significantly helped service to their business. Their judges focused on companies that have demonstrated genuinely proactive and innovative thinking, and collaborative approach delivering a solution that goes far beyond the day to date requirement of the business. Bradman Lake Group submission was based upon the work undertaken with Nestle PTC in regards to “flexible future proof flow wrapping” and Nestle York “the many facets of Nestlé’s Kit Kat” in the delivery of a flexible packaging cell, providing Nestle with the ability to effectively supply product to market with various shelf ready packaging formats.
