New workshops are the first in the U.S. packaging and design space to employ advanced visual content platform solutions from leading French collaboration tech start-up Klaxoon.
The investment has allowed the company to expand the size of the production space in La Chevrolière by 4,000 square meters (43,000 square feet) and has been made in response to an increasing demand for sustainable corrugated cardboard by existing and potential DS Smith customers in the region.
The DS Smith North America Packaging and Paper (NAPP) plant is producing and donating 5,000 boxes to CORA for packaging and delivering food donations to families over the summer.
The investment – totaling 33.9 million euros – is focused on equipment upgrades, including purchasing state-of-the art machinery for innovative packaging solutions and capacity enhancements.
DS Smith, a leading provider of sustainable fiber-based packaging, has called on football fans from all around the world to recycle their pizza boxes in an effort to boost sustainability awareness.
