The more than 30 million aluminum beverage cans recycled each year from the two most recent grants will generate more than $500,000 in revenue, avoiding the CO2 equivalent emissions of driving more than 7.6 million miles.
The product is being highlighted at Paris Packaging Week 2025, where it is a finalist in the event’s Aerosol and Dispensing Forum (ADF) Innovation Awards.
The aluminum coffee pod addresses the environmental crisis caused by the 40 million plastic coffee pods that end up in landfills and oceans every day, offering a more eco-friendly and high-quality alternative.
These two grants are in addition to the four that AMP and Crown have previously funded as part of a program in collaboration with The Recycling Partnership.
