Amcor has just launched Eco-Tite® R in Europe, the first designed to be recycled, PVDC-free shrink bag for fresh and processed meat, poultry and some cheeses.  Amcor Eco-Tite® R is designed to maximize shelf-life, maintain food safety, reduce food waste and can be recycled in existing polyethylene (PE) plastic recycling streams.

The two specialty film producers will now be known as Charter Next Generation (CNG). The comprehensive rebrand reflects a full integration of the two companies that merged in April 2019.

StePac L.A. Ltd.’s innovative modified atmosphere/modified humidity packaging technology is integrating sustainability into the long-haul transport of fresh broccoli and other vegetables traditionally shipped in ice. 

The Flexible Packaging Association (FPA) commissioned PTIS, LLC to provide a holistic view on the sustainability benefits that flexible packaging offers. The resulting report, “A Holistic View of the Role of Flexible Packaging in a Sustainable World,” achieved this goal.
