This ultra-high barrier paper-based solution for food meets growing customer demand for sustainable packaging that contributes to a circular economy.

The TankerBox is produced from corrugated cardboard and was developed as a substitute for the traditional Intermediate Bulk Container (IBC) and metal barrel. 

Mondi’s award-winning EcoVantage kraft paper is made from recycled and responsibly sourced fresh fibers and was previously mainly used for paper shopping bags.

The modernization program will increase efficiency and further improve the overall environmental performance of the mill.

FACHPACK takes place in Nuremberg, Germany and runs from 27-29 September. 

New packaging uses renewable material and a by-product from paper making as well as post-consumer recycled content supporting Essity’s sustainability targets.

The innovative pasta packaging was included in The Waste Age Exhibition hosted by the London Design Museum and the Ellen MacArthur Foundation, which ran between October 2021 and February 2022.
 

Mondi partnered with the National Test Centre Circular Plastics (NTCP) in the Netherlands to prove effective sorting of its plastic packaging during the recycling process.
