When is the right time to consider a merger or acquisition? We caught up with Doug Horn, who leads the packaging investment practice at the Clairvest Group, to ask him about that and to get his thoughts about the market in general.
PreScouter, a Chicago-based research intelligence firm, has released a detailed report on reusable packaging solutions and the companies at the forefront of the trend toward encouraging the reuse of packaging materials.
The report says five LCA case studies quantify the environmental impact of different flexible and non-flexible e-commerce packaging options, as well as the economic shipping impacts.
When it comes to packaging, design options are endless with various material choices, substrates and graphics. Sustainability is a top concern of consumers and packagers alike, as is new designs, when warranted, for ecommerce shipping. Some of the products on-shelf last year in new packaging caught our eyes.
Demand for poultry packaging is forecast to increase 3.4% per year from $4.2 billion in 2019 to $4.9 billion in 2024, according to the report “Meat, Poultry & Seafood Packaging,” by The Freedonia Group.
