Sidel offers more flexibility for the packaging industry by launching its new blowing machine to produce larger bottles with the highest level of production efficiency.

The pioneering leap the two independent businesses took was developing a novel pulp fiber made with a mix of Curran®, bamboo, and bagasse.

The Cotton Fault Reject System automatically verifies the presence of an upright bottle with cotton nestled inside and rejects any bottle that has tipped over, lacks cotton, or has cotton creeping over the rim. 

The company will demonstrate the new machine’s ability to provide smarter sorting by utilizing a parallel-kinematic, multi-axis, pick-and-place robot module, which separates, orients, and positions bottles onto a conveyor or into stabilizing pucks.

CanSource is a leading provider of brite, shrink-sleeved, and printed cans to the craft beer, wine, spirits, and non-alcoholic beverage markets.

Winning entry was the result of a collaboration between Spoetzl Brewery, Ball Corporation and marketing firm Bakery Agency.
