Tekni-Plex, Inc. has acquired Dunn Industries, Inc., manufacturer of specialty extrusion tubing for medical device applications. Its product line is a complements the microextrusion tubing manufactured by Tekni-Plex’s Natvar business unit.

The PMMI Foundation is proud to announce the Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT) as the recipient of the Future Leaders in Packaging Scholarship. The $5,000 Scholarship, awarded each year to an educational institution that prepares students for careers in packaging, will be divided among two or three students selected by the school based on a combination of academic excellence and financial need.
PMMI, The Association for Packaging and Processing Technologies, just announced that Jim Pittas will assume the role of president and CEO of PMMI effective Feb. 1, 2018. Pittas succeeds Chuck Yuska, who is retiring after 27 years at the helm.
