Warm Colors Evoke Whisky's Aging Process

Glenmorangie Bacalta is the eighth addition to Glenmorangie’s award-winning private edition line of whisky. This product has been extra-matured in rare Malmsey Madeira casks that have been baked in the warm sun on the island of Madeira. This baked quality is imparted to the spirit within, resulting in a whisky which delivers complex layers of flavor.

ButterflyCannon used rich shades of yellow, orange and terracotta to create an evocative vignette that would convey the warmth and color of Madeira. To evoke the complex flavors of the whisky, a backdrop overlaid with an interlocking web of graphical motifs was used. Executed in spot varnish and accentuated by a subtle shift in the background gradient, the pattern shimmers as it catches the light.
