The children’s beverage aisle is saturated with artificial, sugary drinks packaged to sell with bright colors and clumsy graphics. Vita Coco, the best-selling coconut water brand in the U.S., is looking to change that trend with the launch of a line extension, Vita Coco Kids. The brand tapped Moxie TM Inc., the New York-based brand design and development firm, who saw this as an opportunity to bring a completely different energy and style into the category.
Thirsty beer drinkers can slake their thirst faster thanks to a two-piece carrier design aided by rotary die cutting technology offered by Schober USA. Working inline as a “slave” with a folder gluer, the Schober RSM operates at speeds of 150m/min (492 ft/min) and more on a 24/7 basis – producing significantly more beverage carriers than the traditional one-piece design.
This summer, when Coke Zero fans want to pop the top on their favorite beverage, they no longer need to consult the hands of the clock. The brand is now being made available in an option without caffeine.
Pure Ally introduces Kwass’Up, a malted non-alcoholic beverage with uncommonly invigorating properties. This unusual soft drink, made with only natural flavors, contains less sugar and calories than traditional sodas and sports drinks. Kwass’Up has been described by testers as “far more refreshing” than typical soft drinks.

Following the success of the 2012 launch in Southern California, Nestlé made the decision to capitalize on consumer interest in the product and expand to national distribution in 2013. resource is a 100 percent natural spring water sourced only from carefully selected natural springs that have naturally occurring electrolytes for a crisp, clean taste and is packaged in a bottle made with 50 percent recycled plastic.

Craft Brew Alliance approached brand design firm Hornall Anderson to help them launch Omission—the first craft beer brand in the U.S. focused exclusively on brewing great tasting beer with traditional beer ingredients—including malted barley—specially crafted to remove gluten.
