PMMI, the Association for Packaging and Processing Technologies, addresses five packaging pain points in senior-friendly health care packaging.

According to the infographic, seniors will make up 24% of the entire U.S. population by 2060, compared to 15% today. As well, by 2050, seniors will comprise minimally 20% of the population in 82 countries worldwide, an increase from only 13 in 2018.
