The award-winning extruded tube for Hydrotex’s Echo Red Armor Lubricant was offset printed in two colors at Berry’s Easthampton, MA manufacturing facility. To create the crisp graphics a second printing plate was used for a black-on-white illustration on the back of the tube to assure legibility of the accompanying white-on-black text. A lube nozzle head style was added to enhance usability. “This tube is a prime example of how superior printing and technical expertise can create a premium brand image for an industrial product,” says Rebecca Vara, VP of Sales, Beauty and Personal Care.
As a vertically integrated tube manufacturer, Berry’s Easthampton plant extrudes and decorates tubes ranging from 1/4 ounces to 15 ounces. Decorating options include dry offset up to eight colors and silk screen up to nine colors, with matte, gloss, and hot stamp and cold foil available with both processes. The plant serves the beauty, personal care, healthcare, household, industrial, and automotive industries.
