On March 31, 1776, Abigail Adams wrote to her husband, John Adams, urging him to "remember the ladies" – marking one of the earliest rally cries of the women's movement in the United States. Today, Stacy's Pita Chips is remembering Adams' plea and announces the winning consumer-created designs to be featured on limited-edition "Stacy's Stands With You" bags.

"From a Boston food cart to a household name, Stacy's Pita Chips is what it is today due to the hard work and passion of our founder, successful female entrepreneur Stacy Madison," says Jennifer Saenz, chief marketing officer, Frito Lay North America. "Celebrating the importance and strength of women is a part of the brand's DNA. The 'Stacy's Stands With You' campaign was created to spotlight the voices and rally cries of the women's movement and create opportunities for teen girls to achieve their full potential."

Earlier this month, Stacy's released nine bag designs inspired by the posters and signs from pivotal moments throughout women's history. The initial 8,000 bags were claimed in less than 24 hours, triggering an $80,000 donation to Step Up, an organization that supports the critical work of mentoring young women and helping them become confident, college-bound and prepared to achieve their full potential in business and in life.

The "Stacy's Stands With You" campaign also provided consumers the opportunity to submit their own inspirational signs and poster artwork for a chance to have their artwork featured on a second release of limited-edition bags. The three winning designs are available while supplies last at StacysStandsWithYou.com. There will be 2,000 bags available.

The moving designs, pictured here, will be featured on limited-edition Stacy's bags, and depict artwork that celebrates the strength of being female and highlights the beauty of equality.

For every fan receiving a limited-edition bag, Stacy's is again making a $10 donation, of up to $20,000, for a combined total of a $100,000 contribution, to Step Up. People can go to the website to learn more about the campaign, order bags and find ways to get involved.

Stacy's is proud to stand with the women of yesterday, today and tomorrow's movements – and knows the achievement, impact, and work to be done in support of women has to continue beyond the month of March (Women's History Month).
