Berry Plastics has announced the addition of Scott Ullem to its Board of Directors. Ullem is currently CFO of Edwards Lifesciences. Prior to his current role, Ullem worked as a banker and as CFO of Bemis.  

 

The company says the appointment provides Berry a director with a strong financial background, as well as experience in the packaging sector. At 49 years of age, Ullem could also be a prospective CEO candidate at Berry Plastics.

 

Berry’s current CEO, Jon Rich, was 60 years old according to filings made by Berry in January.
