First Patented Child-Resistant Pouch Updated with Slider

 First introduced in 1994, Pactech Packaging’s Medi-CRREO Pouch represented the first patented flexible and reclosable child-resistant pouch packaging. Recently, the company saw an opportunity to evolve the reclosable feature through Presto Product Company’s CHILD-GUARD child-resistant slider. The resulting package is a lighter-weight and more compact alternative to rigid formats for manufacturers of household and pool chemicals, detergents, pharmaceuticals, smoking cessations and cannabis products. Available in a range of sizes and with or without a standup gusset, the pouch also provides a larger branding billboard than prescription bottles or rigid blister packaging.
