The Printing Industries of America (PIA) has announced that Inland, a leader in advanced packaging technology headquartered in La Crosse, Wis., is an award winner in the 2015 Premier Print Awards Competition. The Premier Print Awards, the graphic arts industry's largest and most prestigious worldwide printing competition, recognizes outstanding achievement in print production.
This year, more than 2,400 entries were received from printing and graphic arts firms from around the world. Inland was awarded a Certificate of Merit in the labels and wraps - pressure sensitive category for its Heinz Yellow Mustard label.
"We take great pride in the labels we produce" says Jackie Kuehlmann, marketing manager at Inland. "Crafting this label for Heinz was an exciting opportunity for use to showcase the use of gold foil and to help an already renowned brand continue to standout on store shelves." Heinz, long known for its market share in ketchup, announced earlier this year that it would be reintroducing its mustard at stores including Target, Walmart and Safeway.
The Premier Print Awards are the printing industry's oldest and largest worldwide graphic arts competition, hosted by Printing Industries of America. In its 66th year, the annual contest recognizes those responsible for the creation and production of superior print communications. The event promotes excellence in print communications and rewards companies and individuals who produce the very best in print media.
