Design North helped Kent Precision Foods Group reposition its Orrington Farms line of broth and gravy bases, a 100 percent natural alternative to bouillons, broths and stocks, according to the brand.
Because Orrington Farms seeks to give cooks the ability to customize the amount of flavor added to a wide variety of dishes, the design featured a conversion chart on the lid and a numeric icon to highlight its value compared to the competition. The design is intended as clean and simple to make it easy for consumers to distinguish between varieties, and the warm, earthy colors combined with the farm illustration in the new brandmark work to convey the 100 percent natural positioning.
The new design has assisted the brand in expanding distribution.
