Neenah Paper is highlighting its CLASSIC Papers brand with a new CLASSIC Folders promotional piece and Facebook contest.
To showcase the colors and textures available with the CLASSIC brand, Neenah worked with Design Army, a Washington, D.C.- based graphic design studio, to create a promotional piece that includes six customized folders. The folders vary in finish, weight and color, from Red Pepper and Patriot Blue to Classic Natural White, and highlight printing techniques such as raised gloss UV coating and metallic ink. Inside, the folders include tips and information about dealing with stress, keeping track of receipts, innovative printing methods and more.
“CLASSIC Papers allow designers to make an impact. This piece will help designers realize the potential of what they can do with the CLASSIC brand and its bold colors, finishes and weights,” said Tom Wright, senior director of advertising and design for Neenah Paper. “These folders not only show the opportunity designers have when using this brand, they are also meant to help organize and inspire.”
The promotional piece includes information about the CLASSIC Folders Facebook competition hosted by Neenah. Designers can download folder templates at www.neenahpaper.com/classicfolders and then upload their designs to the contest gallery on the Neenah Facebook page. The competition will run until April 24, 2013, and the public will vote to select the winner from the community of uploaded designs. The winner will receive 200 custom printed folders of their winning design.
Through the CLASSIC Folders website, designers can also choose to print their own customized folder designs by placing an order. Site visitors will find guidelines for customizing and ordering their design on any of six CLASSIC Folder finishes – Smooth, Eggshell, Stipple, Linen, Laid and Columns – and can select from a range of colors. The folders are intended to be inexpensive creative solutions for studio, client or personal desktops.
“The CLASSIC Brand is all about adding unique value to printed communications,” Wright added. “So whether you use this promotional piece as a text and cover print reference tool or as helpful organizers for your work station, be sure to enter and display your folder design for the world to see or customize and print your own personalized folders. Either way, you will always be within an arm’s reach of the premium colors and textures of the CLASSIC Brand, which bring beauty and value to the communications you produce.”
