Looking to introduce the cuisine of Africa to the rest of the world, Jainaba Jeng-a native of The Gambia-launched Kitchens of Africa, a range of African-inspired simmer sauces and jerk marinades. Each glass jar pays homage to the culture with richly colored headdresses incorporated into the silhouette of an African woman. The line is currently available in Maffé peanut simmer sauce, Yassa onion simmer sauce and Africa Jerk paste marinade (mild, spicy and fiery).
