H.J. Heinz Company recently relaunched its Nurture Growing Baby Follow-On Milk product in a rigid paperboard can that makes portion control and preparation easy, and protects the product inside. Made from two layers of recycled paperboard that are spiral wound and feature a high barrier liner, the cans lock out moisture and oxygen that can compromise the nutritional integrity of the powdered infant formula. Other parent-friendly features include a “Sealed Safe” peelable membrane closure with easy-grip ring pull that opens the can easily, and a custom-designed molded hinged overcap that allows easy access to the formula and closes securely between feedings.
