Realizing that the consumption of snack foods is often habitual rather than the result of hunger, an Icelandic product designer developed a whimsical alternative called Slim Chips. The experimental line of snacks is made from edible wafer paper and plays up its ironic premise by infusing the “chips” with flavors like mint, blueberry, cheddar or wasabi.
