Exhibitor applications for Shanghai World of Packaging 2019 (swop) are now available online. with Early Bird specials. Again jointly organized by Messe Düsseldorf (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. and Adsale Exhibition Services Ltd., the event will take place at the Shanghai New International Expo Center from November 25 - 28, 2019.
As a member of Messe Düsseldorf’s interpack alliance, swop 2019 will provide a “supply and demand" platform for the Asia-Pacific packaging market, making full use of interpack’s global network and professional resources. It will cover food, beverage, confectionery, baked goods, pharmaceuticals, cosmetics and daily care industries as well as non-food consumer goods and industrial goods.
The event will focus on artificial intelligence, printing and labeling, e-commerce and logistics packaging as well as personalized packaging and packaging design in order to provide innovative packaging solutions and intelligent processing and packaging production lines for the entire industry chain. Five special exhibition areas will address current themes in the packaging industry.
The SAVE FOOD initiative of the partners Messe Düsseldorf, the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) and UN Environment (former UNEP) aims to drive innovations, promote interdisciplinary dialogue and discussions in order to generate solutions across the entire value chain “from field to fork” and make contributions against global food loss. SAVE FOOD will again be present at swop 2019 with a special area and forum to share innovative concepts and technologies with the public.
swop 2019 will also cover fast moving consumer goods, teaming up with industry pioneer “Packaging Family” to present the “FMCG Future Zone.” This is the place to see the latest packaging materials, ideas, technologies and new products/designs for end use industries such as food, cosmetics and pharmaceuticals.
New this year will be the special print area focusing on digital printing, smart packaging and green printing.
The new "Smart Packaging" Zone will display all-in-one smart packaging of functional materials, structural intelligent packaging and information-based smart packaging as well as the related technical applications.
“components” debuted as an exhibition parallel to the interpack 2014 trade fair in Düsseldorf, Germany, and will be introduced at swop in 2019. “components” targets companies specializing in motors and drive technology, control and sensor technology, products for machine vision, handling technology, industrial software and communication as well as complete automation systems for packaging machines.
