Ardagh Group, Glass – North America, a division of Ardagh Group (ardaghgroup.com) has  achieved ISO 14001:2015 certification at its Dolton, Ill., facility. ISO 14001 is the internationally recognized standard for the environmental management of businesses, providing the framework to help organizations minimize their impact on the environment, comply with applicable laws and regulations and work toward continual environmental improvement.

This new certification makes the entire 14 Ardagh Group glass manufacturing facilities in North America ISO 14001-certified.

In addition to the Dolton facility's certification, it was honored as Cook County Manufacturer of the Year in 2016 by the Alliance for Industry and Manufacturing. The award recognized Dolton’s reputation for leadership and involvement in the manufacturing industry, its focus on technology and innovation, as well as its commitment to the local community.

Ardagh Group’s Dolton facility was built in 1954 and manufactures glass containers for the food and spirits markets. Today, the facility employs approximately 440 people.
