Menasha Packaging Company, a subsidiary of Menasha Corp., has appointed Michael D. Riegsecker as its new president, effective Sept. 1, 2018. Riegsecker previously served CEO of Menasha Packaging.
Riegsecker joined the company in 1992 and will succeed Michael K. Waite, who will retire as president of Menasha Packaging and move into the role of executive vice president of Strategy and Business Development where he will continue to support various growth and strategic initiatives until his retirement on Dec. 31, 2018.
Prior to his position as chief operating officer, Riegsecker held several progressive positions at Menasha Packaging, including general manager, group vice president and senior vice president of sales. He is a graduate of Purdue University and was with International Paper prior to Menasha Packaging.
