Elizabeth Grant International, a three generation family-owned cosmetic company based in Toronto, has partnered with Domino North America (domino-printing.com) to achieve impeccable standards for the manufacturing and packaging process of their specialty skin care products line.
As a global enterprise, Elizabeth Grant uses Domino’s reliable coding technologies to ensure all lot codes are clearly and accurately placed in order to meet stringent industry regulations.
“Every single thing that we make has to be lot coded and has to adhere to the standards that are required internationally,” Elizabeth Grant President Marion Witz shares. “When I learned about Domino… it just hit every point that we needed. They’ve never let us down.”
Elizabeth Grant currently employs over 19 coding systems from Domino, including A320i Intelligent Technology system, the D320i laser with Fume extraction, and C6000 Large Character Printer in their manufacturing facility. While these printers fulfill seemingly minor, specific tasks within Elizabeth Grant’s extensive production process, they play an integral role in Witz’s overall vision for the operation.
“Being a global company, we want to make sure that the product we put out always has exceptional standards,” Witz declares. “If I have a factory in which skin care is being produced, I want to make sure that anybody can visit at any time and that the floor will always be clean, and good manufacturing processes are being followed at all times… we’ve achieved that.”
Witz relies on Domino to meet both her own and the industry’s exceptional standards, while also maintaining and innovating equipment.
“Everything about Domino’s machines works,” Witz praises. “Not only do they work, but they’ve kept up with technology, allowing us to be more efficient … and efficiency on a factory room floor is absolutely essential.”
