Coinciding with its relocation to high-quality office space in suburban Chicago, the Institute of Packaging Professionals announces the opening of the IoPP (iopp.org) Training Center on-site at its new national headquarters at One Parkview Plaza, 17W110 22nd St., Suite 800, Oakbrook Terrace, IL 60181 USA, near O’Hare International Airport.
The IoPP Training Center will offer modern, comfortable facilities and complete audio-visual capability for teaching IoPP’s Fundamentals of Packaging Technology in-person course, with the potential for other future educational events.
Jane Chase, IoPP Chair, commented that “IoPP is thrilled with the addition of the Training Center as it offers our members more access to industry-leading education opportunities. Furthermore, it provides both the instructors and students strong on-site support from IoPP staff.”
Coinciding with the opening of the new Training Center, IoPP announces its 2016 Fundamentals classroom schedule, which adds a second set of training dates to provide more flexible scheduling options:
Spring Session
Semesters 1-2, March 28-April 1
Semesters 3-4, April 25-29
Summer Session
Semesters 1-2, June 20-24
Semesters 3-4, July 25-29
“We are extremely proud of the incredible office space for IoPP’s new headquarters,” says Patrick Farrey, IoPP executive director. “From the moment visitors walk through our front doors, the new offices will provide a presence befitting the premier packaging education organization IoPP has been for more than 75 years. For those who take the Fundamentals program in our Training Center, the new IoPP offices are in the heart of one of suburban Chicago’s most prominent business and entertainment corridors. The convenience of a great selection of quality hotels, restaurants and entertainment will await them nearby.”
Jim George, IoPP director of education, explains that the new Training Center will enhance the learning experience for Fundamentals classroom attendees.
“The Training Center provides flexible space and some amenities not common in hotel meeting rooms that will assure all attendees a quality learning environment,” says George. “Equally as important, the Training Center will provide better operating efficiencies that enable us to avoid a near-term price increase for the Fundamentals course at a time when education program pricing in general is on the rise.”
Registration is now open for the 2016 Fundamentals classes.
