Pharma Tech Industries (pharma-tech.com), one of the largest pharmaceutical contract manufacturers and packagers of powder products in the world, has promoted Matthew Milner, who has risen through the ranks in supply chain operations at the company since 2008, to Director of Supply Chain Operations.
In his new role, Milner will oversee Pharma Tech’s strategic approach to supply chain management and customer service, including capacity analysis, best practices for planning and order fulfillment, commercial project management and high-level inventory management. Reporting to Matthew will be the customer relationship managers at each of Pharma Tech’s facilities.
Milner also will act as a conduit to Pharma Tech’s Leadership Team from the company’s latest service addition: its Supply Chain Security System. Introduced following an analysis of incoming calls, the updated protocol creates a shorter path to Pharma Tech’s Leadership Team for especially urgent matters. Headed by CEO Tee Noland, the Leadership Team makes expedited recommendations to Pharma Tech’s Technology Transfer and Supply Chain Teams, which then flesh out a detailed plan of action, cost estimates, etc.
“Pharma Tech’s proven ability to closely collaborate with customers to find creative solutions to manufacturing and packaging challenges demonstrates the brand stewardship the company has historically taken in its approach to customer satisfaction,” says Noland. “Matthew has been an integral part of this client-first culture for several years, and his promotion to Supply Chain Director is very well deserved.”
Milner holds a BBA in Management and Finance from the University of Georgia. He is a member of the Hart County Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors, and resides in Canon, GA with his wife and two children.
