Brenton Engineering (brentonengineering.com), powered by Pro Mach (ProMachInc.com), announced today that it is expanding its Center of Engineering and Manufacturing Excellence in Alexandria, MN. An addition of 25,000 square feet will accommodate growth in its packaging machinery solutions business including Brenton case packers and robotics, Currie by Brenton palletizers and Orion stretch wrappers. The expansion will provide additional manufacturing capacity necessary to test sophisticated end-of-line systems.

The new addition to the manufacturing facility and resources will significantly increase Brenton’s production capacity and improve the overall flow of the production processes. The expansion was fueled by the continued growth they have experienced since 2007 when the first 85,000 square foot addition was made to the facility. “Brenton has an impressive history of growth,” says Mark Anderson, Pro Mach president and CEO. “Pro Mach is proud of their past success and to support another project to strengthen Brenton’s position for advancement in the packaging industry and Alexandria community.”

Construction will begin July 2014 and is expected to be complete in the fall of 2014,giving the facility more than 225,000 square feetof manufacturing and office space. “We arecommitted to our customers and their growing demand for our products,” says Jason Enninga, VP of sales. “The additional space will allow us to meet current and future demands for the Brenton, Currie and Orion product lines.”
