Care Controls Inc. (carecontrols.com) out of Everett, WA introduces its updated double seam inspection system--IVIS 360. This unit inspects all 360 degrees of a cans seam checking it for defects. The IVIS 360 checks for such defects as droop, "vee", false seam, knocked down flange, seam dents, among other seam anomalies. In 2013, Care Controls Inc. used this machine to aid in a major tuna project, and recently has helped with the inspection of many irregular shaped cans in the sardine industry.
