The Bradman Lake Group (bradmanlake.com) will again be participating at Interpack 2014 in Dusseldorf, Germany, May 8-14, 2014.

Visitors to the Bradman Lake Group stand will be able witness first-hand the very latest technology in end load cartoning and flow wrapping, designed to meet the challenges of today’s packaging industry by improving the efficiency and flexibility of a packaging line to increase profitability.

Exhibits will include the SL902 End Load Cartoner with Cascade Loader Lite and a next-generation of the Flowtronic FT120 Flow Wrapper which will be part of a multipack wrapping system, fed by a DRT Robotic Top Loader.

Visitors to stand (GO4 Hall 05) can find out more about the advanced features of these machines as well as the group’s other integrated packaging technologies, which can be supplied turnkey or individually.

Bradman Lake Next-generation FT120 Flow Wrapper

Bradman Lake is launching its next-generation of FT120 Flow Wrapper. Our team will be available at the stand to demonstrate the new features of the machine.

Bradman Lake DRT Robotic Toploader

For ultimate secondary packaging flexibility, the DRT robotic top loader on display provides dual loading functionality for customers needing the ability to automatically collate and load primary wraps into a choice of two secondary packages, either a film multipack or a rigid retail carton.

The machine employs state of the art technology in all functions to automatically stack a wide range of products on either side of the race track, typically with a carton management system on one side and a multipack flow wrapper in-feed on the other.

Bradman Lake FT120 Multipack Flow Wrapper

The FT120 Multipack Flow Wrappersets the benchmark for horizontal form fill and seal flow wrapping machines. It can be supplied  as a ‘stand alone’ machine for low speed, hand fed applications, or as a fully automatic system to meet the demands of the most sophisticated hi-tech processing and packaging lines. It operates at the highest level of efficiency incorporating a PLC control system with three axis servo drive and motor package.

The FT120 multipack machine has clean modern lines, is simple to operate and maintain as well as being able to accommodate a wide range of product sizes with simple and quick change over.

Bradman Lake Cascade Loader ‘Lite’

Typical products for this cost effective entry model are bags containing loose products such as Tea or Milk Powder. Normally linked to a VFFS bagging machine, an inclined conveyor will feed the cascade loader. Product that is either not sufficiently spaced apart or is out of specification, will be rejected prior to entry into the first infeed pocket.

The product descends progressively through the servo driven pockets and is perfectly synchronised into the target pockets of the cartoner’s in-feed conveyor. The final cascade pocket can collate a number of products prior to deposition into cartoner infeed. Single or multiple cascade loaders can be interfaced to a single cartoner infeed, in order to take advantage of the cartoner’s speed capabilities.

Bradman Lake SL902 End Load Cartoner

Bradman Lake’s SL series of end load cartoning machines is the natural evolution of years of experience in the supply of machines that handle all types of products and carton designs.

The machines are designed to operate over a large size range with easy, fast and repeatable size changing. The machine on display is cost effective entry level model.

The SL902 Fully Automatic End Load Cartoner can handle lower grade carton materials and are available with a variety of product infeed and collating systems for total automation with upstream equipment. A wide range of optional features are available to enable the machine to be readily adapted to meet the customer’s specific requirements. The simple yet strong stainless steel construction makes the machine ideally suited to the food industry. Machine guarding has been designed to provide both maximum visibility of operation and excellent machine access. Conveyor systems can be provided to facilitate product transport from flow wrapping machines and to feed cartoned product to case packing or shrink wrapping machines also supplied by the Bradman Lake Group.
