Barenjager Honey & Tea is the perfect combination of premium honey and tea liqueur made from all natural ingredients and no artificial flavors. The new spirit offers an herbaceous nose, a sweet black tea and honey taste and a long finish of lingering black tea notes.

Barenjager Honey & Pear is made with generous amounts of pure, real honey and high quality pear brandy sourced from Germany. The brandy is distilled exclusively from Williams pears, which are highly aromatic and flavorful. This unique blend results in a balanced and lightly sweet taste with an alternating pear and honey finish.

These two line extensions join the growing portfolio which also includes Barenjager Honey Liqueur and recently introduced Barenjager Honey & Bourbon which was launched in 2012. Each Barenjager product is hand-crafted by one of Germany's oldest family owned companies, Schwarze & Schlichte, with over 340 years of distilling knowledge and tradition. The Barenjager portfolio differentiates itself from other honey flavored spirits in the growing category by being made with pure, natural honey and no artificial flavors or ingredients. The base brand, Barenjager Honey Liqueur, is a 70 proof honey liqueur made from neutral grain alcohol and contains 300 grams of pure honey in each liter bottle.

During the 15^th century, the Eastern Prussian bear trap company, Teucke & Konig, first introduced Barenjager which translates to "Bear Hunter." In an effort to end the struggle between man and bear, this sweet concoction was the first professionally produced Meschkinnes - mead-like moonshine made from honey by beekeepers and farmers - and was formulated to aid hunters attract bears and lure them from their dwellings. The alluring spirit's recipe was slightly altered in the 18^th century and continues to serve as the original honey liqueur enjoyed around the world today.
