Multisorb Technologies(www.multisorb.com) announces the appointment of Michael Barnett to the position of Business Development Representative - Food and Beverage Packaging. Barnett will provide sales and service support to the North American Food and Beverage Market. This appointment supports Multisorb’s continued growth in this region.

Based in Charleston, South Carolina, Barnett will report to Bob Sabdo, Market Leader, Food and Beverage Packaging, North America. Under Sabdo’s direction, Barnett will provide technical sales and support through the implementation of the Calculations through Operations^® Program, Multisorb’s consultative business model. The Calculations through Operations Program provides customized active packaging solutions (desiccants, moisture regulators, oxygen absorbers, and other adsorbers) that have been optimized for specific food and beverage applications.

Barnett’s previous positions as a consultant and account executive provided him with extensive experience in the food and beverage packaging arena.  Additionally, Barnett holds a bachelor’s degree in packaging engineering from Clemson University. His industry expertise and customer centric focus will allow Multisorb to expand its relationship with key customers and develop relationships with new and prospective customers.
