“We left Chicago with sales for PACK EXPO Las Vegas 2013 up 20 percent year-to-date. Now, we see The Brand Zone is nearly sold out, which makes me very optimistic about next year’s show. I think it’s going to be great, and it’s on track to be the largest PACK EXPO Las Vegas show we’ve ever had,” says Jim Pittas, vice president of trade shows, PMMI.
Formerly known as the Containers & Materials Pavilion, The Brand Zone has come to serve as center for inspiration for brand managers and package designers. In addition to products that shape winning brands, The Brand Zone houses The Showcase of Packaging Innovations™ sponsored by the Dow Chemical Company. In 2012, features in the brand zone also included displays from global market researcher Mintel and the Material ConneXion library.
2012 attendee Rich Milker, Just Born Quality Confections, says PACK EXPO helps him keep his brand moving forward. “For me PACK EXPO is a one-stop-shop. It’s tactical in that it gives you the chance to meet a wide range of people from throughout the industry. It’s inspirational from an innovation standpoint, since you get such a bird’s eye view on industry trends. The event just has so much to offer, I got there Monday, and by Wednesday, I wished I could stay for two more days!”
