FFRG is an active and engaged group of businesses focused exclusively on increasing recycling of PE Flexible Film. The primary goals are to promote and increase plastic film recycling through education and outreach, and enhance and expand the commercial film recovery infrastructure.
FFRG manages the “A Bag’s Life” consumer education campaign-an established and expanding program with real impact, recognition and national reach. Plans are underway to expand this program to more fully promote the recycling of wraps in addition to bags. See:www.abagslife.com.
With broad stakeholder and FTC engagement, FFRG is developing a “recyclability” logo for use on film products to help promote and increase recycling. The group is identifying opportunities and barriers to the recovery of PE film from small and medium-sized retailers, as well as developing a roadmap to help support elimination of barriers.
