The Food Processing Suppliers Association (FPSA) announces that it has now
surpassed the milestone of 200,000 square feet for the 2011 PROCESS EXPO
trade show, doubling the size of the 2010 show floor. The show will be held
November 1 – 4 at McCormick Place
(South Hall) in Chicago.
“This milestone really speaks to the commitment of suppliers to the food
and beverage industry,” says Scott Scriven, Chairman of the Food Processing
Suppliers Association and President of Weber, Inc. “With ten weeks left to go
before this year's PROCESS EXPO, we still have companies eager to sign up and
be a part of this event. At the same time, we're seeing an unprecedented
amount of promotion both from show management and exhibitors and a strong
response in our registration, especially for our educational sessions. We are
confident that these factors coming together are helping to build the largest
food and beverage focused event in the Western
Hemisphere this year."
"We attribute this extraordinary growth in PROCESS EXPO to the
leadership on display among FPSA members," remarks David Seckman,
President & CEO of FPSA. "Not only have they been instrumental in
the decision to move to a biennial show cycle, they act as our best
ambassadors as they are actively promoting the show to their customer base,
as well as other suppliers to the industry. When you consider how few
tradeshows are growing these days, it makes you truly realize the degree of
support that PROCESS EXPO enjoys."
