Tetra Pak names vice president of sustainability and recycling programs, North America
Jason Pelz accepts the title.
President and CEO of Tetra Pak North America (www.tetrapakusa.com), Michael Zacka, announces that Jason Pelz has joined the company as Vice President of Sustainability and Recycling Programs.
Based at Tetra Pak’s North American Headquarters in Vernon Hills, IL, Pelz will be responsible for advancing the company’s sustainability and recycling strategies throughout the United States and Canada.
With nearly 20 years of experience in the recycling industry, Pelz joins Tetra Pak from Waste Management Recycle America, where he recently served as the Director of Global Export Sales. Among his many accomplishments, Pelz lead global export strategy for the company’s secondary fiber and waste plastics including the management of the export sales group. He also managed processes by which the export sales team opened new, and grew existing global sales markets for recyclables, including markets in: China, Southeast Asia, Europe, India, Mexico, South America and the Middle East.
