The company has been chosen to announce STEP funding.
Delkor Systems(www.delkorsystems.com) was selected by the office of the U.S. Small Business
Administration as the site to announce the funding available for the 2012 State
Trade and Export Promotion (STEP) Program, a government program to assist
selected small businesses with a portion of their export funding needs.
Delkor Systems received the 1st
round of STEP funding last year from the Minnesota Trade Office. The funding
was used to participate in Expo Pack 2012, one of Latin America's biggest trade
shows. Expo Pack was a successful event for Delkor as the company now has a
business agent in Mexico, anticipates an increase in export sales by the end of
the year and has hired more staff, which includes three bilingual employees.
On hand for these proceedings were
Karen Mills, administrator of SBA, Senators Amy Klobuchar and Al Franken of
Minnesota and Dale Andersen, CEO of Delkor Systems, and his staff.
