Ampac Flexibles presented energy audit results that showed strong energy savings through its solventless laminating (SLL) technology. SLL offers improved shelf life, barrier and appearance, adheres strongly to environmental regulations, and uses less energy. A recent study showed that Ampac’s Cary, Ill., facility’s energy efficiency improved 86% by switching from solvent-based lamination to solventless lamination.
PMMI has appointed Jason Bian as director of the organization’s China office. The organization has also selected Craig Silverio as chairman of the Finance and Administration Roundtable.
Schneider Electric Group company ELAU has simplified the integration of Schneider’s Fieldbus-equipped automation components into its modular automation. The ELAU system can be used with all common products that communicate via Profibus, Ethernet/IP, CAN-based networks and CANopen.
