To celebrate this milestone anniversary as well as the product’s birthday on July 5, SPAM® classic canned ham introduces a new ad campaign and two new spicy limited edition flavors, Jalapeño and Black Pepper.

Aspects of the campaign include recalling the evolution of the brand’s labeling over the decades and the introduction of Sir Can-A-Lot™, the brand’s first ever spokes character. With this new campaign, SPAM hopes to emphasize its popularity during mealtime as well as remind consumers of its heroics during wartime and its dependability during peacetime. 

SPAM will also be ringing the closing bell at the NYSE and hosting a community celebration in Austin, MN in July.
