Pink ribbons have long been associated with the battle against breast cancer, and have been included on many packages. A new package takes this one step further: It’s shaped like a pink ribbon itself. The PET fruit tray, from East Coast Fresh Cuts, Savage, Md., has four compartments that hold grapes, watermelon chunks and mixed melon pieces. It is sealed with flexible film that bears the message, “A portion of the proceeds from the sale of this tray will be donated to Breast Cancer Research.” The 44-ounce product sells for a suggested $12.99.
