A package for Swiss chocolate, shaped like a chef’s hat, has won an award from a European paperboard association. Le Chef chocolates from Goldkenn, Geneva, Switzerland, are individually wrapped pieces that come in a tall paperboard container whose multifaceted folds and diamond-shaped top are reminiscent of a classic chef’s toque. The material is double-coated Crescendo C1S paperboard fromMWV.The Le Chef package won top honors in the carton category by Pro Carton/ECMA, the Association of European Carton and Cardboard Manufacturers, late last year.
