Kraft Foods is extending the concept of the 100-calorie pack into fresh cheese. Kraft 100 Calorie Pack Cheese Bites comprise small cheese chunks packaged in a peggable pouch, like most Kraft small-particle cheeses, with five 1-ounce single-serve pouches inside. A window at the bottom of the outer pouch shows consumers the single-serve portions. Introduced nationwide in February, the product comes in four flavors (Cheddar; Cheddar & Monterey Jack; 3-Cheese Blend, and Mozzarella, Garlic & Herb) and retails for a suggested $2.79.
