Susan Graff is Vice President of Global Corporate Sustainability at Resource Recycling Systems (www.recycle.com). For over 30 years, Susan has provided individual and collaborative sustainability and materials management solutions to both industrial and government clients focused on reducing material and energy consumption while increasing recycled material value capture via closed loop systems. She led development of The Sustainability Scorecard, an analytic tool used by consumer brands and manufacturers to establish sustainability business goals, strategy, metrics, and employee training that improved a company’s sustainability profile. Susan spearheads a variety of RRS packaging value chain recovery projects including Materials Recovery for the Future (MRFF). She also serves on the REMADE Institute Technical Advisory Committee to advance manufacturing a sustainable future, working in partnership with global companies, research institutes and labs across the U.S. to advance recovery systems. Prior to RRS, Susan founded ERS Global, a sustainability consultancy that served Fortune 200 clients with enterprise wide sustainability program development. Having begun her career at the US EPA serving in several senior roles at the Southeast Region and Headquarters offices, Susan was responsible for waste management, policy development, environmental risk assessment, and public/private partnerships to improve environmental performance. Susan holds an M.S. in Technology and Science Policy from Georgia Institute of Technology, and a B.S. in Biology from Western Illinois University.
