Overseeing day to day operations for the growing business, David brings more than two decades of experience in the paper-based and flexible packaging industries, including Production and Operational Excellence directorship.
At full capacity, the facility will recycle nearly 90 million pounds of plastic waste per year, enough to encircle the globe in pallet wrap more than 135 times. It is expected to employ nearly 200 people.
The move is one of few leadership changes in the company's 121-year history, including when the Schottland family purchased APC from the Kardon family in 1986.
