BASF Launches New Water-Based Adhesive

Most flexible packaging consists of a multilayer film structure comprised of traditional plastics and adhesives that is neither recyclable nor compostable. Epotal P 100 Eco – compostable, water-based adhesive for flexible packaging – offers all the benefits of water-based adhesives. Tests show that 90 percent of Epotal P 100 Eco degrades in just 70 days. In addition, the byproducts are non-toxic and do not influence plant growth.
