LaserSharp FlexPak Services has opened a new satellite location in Miami, Florida in partnership with Karlville Development.

LaserSharp FlexPak will be a part of the incubation program that Karlville has started at its Miami facility. The incubation program is a strategic approach for new and expanding innovative businesses in South Florida, where Karlville assists these companies in their growing process.

FlexPak-Miami specializes in package development using laser technology. The Laser System is retrofit onto a 55-inch slitter/rewinder from Karlville Development and will be used to demonstrate the technology and to complete contract laser manufacturing in house. Some of the capabilities of this integrated system includes slitting master rolls into finished web while laser micro and/or macro perforating for breathable packaging and laser scoring in both machine and cross web direction for easy to open packages.
