Flint Group Africa/Continental Printing Inks CEO Sampie Hamman has stepped down from his role of CEO after 21 years of service. The move was effective on May 31, 2016.
Hamman joined Continental Printing Inks in 1994 and, under his leadership, built the Group to its current position as the largest supplier of printing inks to the Sub-Sahara African market.

“It has been an emotional decision but it comes at the right time after 21 rewarding years working with some fantastic people in an exciting industry,” Hamman says. “I’m very proud to be leaving the company well positioned for future growth as part of a major multinational business.”

Pieter Jordaan, commercial director for Flint Group Africa/Continental Printing Inks, has been appointed as VP and general manager Africa to help support the organization’s continued development. In this new role, Jordaan will report directly to Doug Aldred, president, Flint Group Packaging and Narrow Web division.

Sampie will remain on the board of Flint Group Africa to ensure a smooth transition.
