Wikoff Color Corporation has appointed Evan Benbow, Ph.D. as its new assistant director of research. Benbow will oversee water-based and oil-based ink product and water coatings development in addition to customer service operations.

“Evan brings a great deal of knowledge and a fresh perspective to our team, and we are excited to have him aboard,” says Don Duncan, Ph.D. and director of research.

Prior to coming to Wikoff, Benbow worked with exotic energy storage technologies for automotive and grid storage applications. He completed his Bachelor of Science degree in chemistry from Iowa State University in 2003 and obtained his Ph.D. at Florida State University in inorganic chemistry, specializing in metal alloys with exotic magnetic properties. Benbow has 11 publications in peer reviewed journals as well as a patent.
